User guide

Your first project, step by step.

Create a project, add the pages you care about, and choose how to test them. Here is all you need to get started.

Open dashboard

Sign in with an active subscription to use the dashboard. View plans.

Create a project

A project groups pages from one website.

  1. Open the dashboard. The first-project form appears automatically; for another project, choose Add project.
  2. Enter a project name and a starting URL, such as https://storefront.example. The domain fills in automatically; check that it matches your website.
  3. Choose a preview background and click Confirm. Your starting URL becomes the project’s default page.

Use a public URL that opens without signing in. No tracking script or website installation is needed.

Add pages

Start with a few key pages: home, pricing, or a product page.

  1. Open your project and choose New Page in the sidebar.
  2. Enter the page URL, such as https://storefront.example/pricing. Add an optional display name to make it easy to find.
  3. Click Add page. Select the page in the sidebar to view its tests and settings.

Every page must use the project’s domain. Adding a URL does not start a test or enable automatic testing.

Configure tests

Each page has its own schedule and device settings.

  1. Select a page, open Auto-test scheduler, and turn on Enable automatic testing.
  2. Choose daily or weekly checks. The Advanced plan also offers every 4 or 8 hours. Choose mobile, desktop, or both.
  3. Review the estimated monthly usage, then click Save settings. Repeat for each page you want to monitor.

Automatic testing starts off. Mobile + desktop uses two tests per scheduled check; manual tests also count toward your monthly quota.

Run a test and view results

Run your first check whenever you are ready.

  1. With a page selected, click Run Mobile or Run Desktop and wait for the test to finish.
  2. Open Analytics for trends or History for individual runs. Keep the same page and device when comparing results.
  3. Open Detail view to inspect scores, diagnostics, and opportunities for the selected run.

Charts become more useful after several completed tests. Manual and scheduled runs appear in the same history.
